• You should have a reliable internet connection when taking the exam. No extra time will be granted due to any technical issues.

• You should not communicate with anyone by any means during the exam  • In case you have inquiries during the exam, you should contact the lecturer through  the ‘Group Chat’ function in Zoom.

• You are not allowed to leave the Zoom meeting until the lecturer asks you to do so.

2. Exam logistics

• You need to charge your cell phones to a full-battery status so that no such issues arise throughout the 120-minute Zoom-session.

• Log in to the Zoom meeting with your mobile by 10:45 AM latest. Activate your microphone and camera (without the use of blurring or artificial background themes)  and adjust both so that you can clearly be heard and seen.

• Upon hearing your name being called by the lecturer, confirm your participation in the exam (= considered as an exam attempt) before 11:00 AM. Show an ID into the camera upon request.

• The exam time is 120 minutes; in addition, you have 15 minutes to upload your exam paper. The exam starts at 11:00 AM and ends at 1:00 PM.

• Use empty white sheets to provide supporting calculations for your answers, clearly indicating to which problem those calculations refer to. Write your given and family name on every page.

• After the submission of the Moodle quiz, use a scanning app on your mobile phone (e.g.  Office Lens, Tiny Scanner, Fast Scanner,…) to scan all your handwritten pages and  combine them into a single PDF document, which has to be uploaded up until 1:15 PM.

• Upload this PDF document to the Moodle task folder within the given time frame. The PDF document must have your first and last name in the file name.

3. Configuration in Zoom for live proctoring and process of the live proctoring  • You will be proctored by the lecturer and other test administrators through your  mobile camera in Zoom during the exam.
